We are a very happy American family that consists of: Rosa – Mom, Witold – Dad, and Janek (Yanek) – son (fifteen at the time). We also have two older sons, but they are already on their own (one is married). Rosa is a linguist (specialty Slavic languages) with many years of experience as a translator. Witold is a computer specialist by education, and computer and Internet specialist by profession. |

Our son Janek is a High School student. He loves history, and he is also an artist and a writer (he wrote his first book when he was twelve – 70 pages). Although he is just fifteen, he is a very mature kid. He knows a lot in many areas of his interest. Most of this knowledge he acquired from the Internet – he spends lots of time searching interesting information on history and arts (he is a very talented painter). |

One of the reasons we are so happy is that we do most of the things together. Some of these things are for pure fun – like playing games, traveling (we just love to travel together), while some are more “serious”, like writing books (we just finished one, and the other one is almost ready). We all also spend lots of time on the Internet.
